Our approach

PersonalOS exists to help you organise your own life, so your information belongs to you. We only collect what we need to provide the service, and we never sell your personal data.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored securely as a hash).
• Personalisation answers you choose to give during onboarding, such as interests and goals.
• Content you create: goals, milestones, tasks, saved resources and AI assistant conversations.
• Subscription and payment records. Card and M-Pesa details are handled by our payment providers.
• Basic usage counts (for example, AI messages used today) so plan limits work fairly.

How we use it

To run your account, personalise your dashboard and recommendations, power the AI assistant, process payments, and keep the service secure. AI personalisation can be turned off at any time in your settings.

Who can see your data

Only you. Database access rules ensure other users can never read your goals, conversations or account information. A small number of authorised administrators can see account and subscription status to provide support.

Your rights

You can view and edit your information, export a copy of your data, or permanently delete your account. If you have a question about your data, contact us.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy we will let you know inside the app before they take effect.
